Happy Canada Day everyone. This post is late because we went out and watched fireworks at midnight. It took us longer to get out of where we parked then the whole show. Still it was decent.
The wave 4 ships for Star Wars Xwing released this week so I called my FLSG Strange Ideas to get some held for me. I was told they werent in yet but should be by the end of the week. So I preordered one each of the rebel ships and two each of imperial ships. I cant wait to use those TIE Phantoms.
So I didn't get any miniatures painted this week, terrible of me I know. I even had the whole weekend to myself. I did however make some terrain. I built a watch tower and a desert building. There is a company from Australia called Miniature Scenery who makes some laser cut wood terrain that I love. I am planning on buying some of their desert dwellings in the future, but until then I am building crappy building copies of their stuff.
This one is a copy of their building The Crows Nest loaded up with chaos cultists.
On Miniature Scenery they also sell watchtowers. I liked how theirs looked so I tried to built my own. I left the top removable and plan on adding a roof aswell. Here it is offering a vantage point to a squad of Dark Angels.
For my Blast from the Past as I have started calling it, I give you my Dark Eldar Scourge Sybarite. I painted this lovely lady as the first of the squad. Sadly I have only gotten two more of the five done. My Dark Eldar have been kind of sidelined temporarily.
